The Philadelphia Soul bring football FUN to summer camp! Players from the Philadelphia Soul arena football team hosted a football clinic for more than 50 local children at our Temple Corps Community Center at Broad and Brown Streets in Philadelphia.
Kids learned the dynamics of football and the importance of staying active. Activities included warming up and stretching, as well as professional football drills involving catching a football and racing through an obstacle course
The partnership was initiated by the Philadelphia Soul who also invited Salvation Army youth and their families to attend their Sunday evening game on August 5. By combining efforts, The Salvation Army and Philadelphia Soul hope to encourage children to stay active while teaching the importance of teamwork.
