The Philadelphia Flyers helped out The Salvation Army with Christmas gifts this week!
Teammates Scott Laughton, Rob Hagg, Nolan Patrick and Travis Sanheim delivered hundreds of toys to The Salvation Army Greater Philadelphia’s operations center in Wynnefield Heights on December 19.
The presents were donated by Flyers fans during several home pages in the month of December. Once they arrived, the players then sorted the toys by age and gender to be distributed to families in need this holiday season.
“It’s a special day. It’s for a great cause and we’re having lots of fun doing it,” said Scott Laughton, Philadelphia Flyers center.
